NSE, SRC gives to Ronald McDonald House | #NSEgives

NSE is proud to support the local Ronald McDonald House (RMH) through a recent donation made by the SRC Community Relations Committee.

RMH | Help when it’s needed

  • Every evening, generous people from the community provide a home-cooked meal for all of the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House through the Family Dinner Program.
  • A fully-stocked food pantry is available to our families, thanks to our generous donors.
  • A van provides transportation to and from medical facilities four times a day.
  • Special security measures keep our House a safe and secure place to stay.
  • Free laundry facilities are available, including complimentary detergent.

The Ronald McDonald House also has limited resources available to assist with unexpected emergency transportation, medication and clothing, should the need arise.

Behind the house that’s a home

The Ronald McDonald House is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by dedicated members of our management team and volunteers. Office hours are 9 AM to 9 PM.

Greatly needed support for our Ronald McDonald house comes entirely from the private sector, including generous individuals, groups and corporations. Among our supporters are dozens of local McDonald’s restaurants and their customers. From these gifts, our first House near CoxSouth Hospital, 949 E. Primrose St., serves nearly 300 families a year.

A second Ronald McDonald House at Mercy Children’s Hospital

Springfield, Missouri’s second Ronald McDonald House is NOW OPEN on the sixth floor of Mercy Children’s Hospital, 1235 E. Cherokee.  You can see how construction progressed here-www.road2mercyhouse.org! We are so thankful to everyone who helped make this possible.
