What is Kitting
Kitting is a process in which individually separate but related items are grouped, packaged, and supplied together as one unit. For example, when choosing to overhaul an engine, a dealer may select pistons, sleeves, rings, gaskets, and other engine components to properly finish the job. Rather than requiring the dealer to order these parts individually, the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) may offer a complete overhaul kit to its dealer network. NSE provides this service as an extension of the OEM, kitting as directed by the OEM and distributing to its parts distribution centers or dealers. Read More about kitting
