NewStream Enterprises, LLC recently said congratulations and farewell to Kristy Akins, our Production Supervisor, as she settles into retirement. Kristy began her career at SRC in 1996 where she worked for 4 years before coming to NewStream in 2000.
When Kristy first joined NewStream, she started out as a Materials Specialist, from there she worked her way up to a Production Supervisor position which she held for 22 years and where she will end her time at NewStream.
“It was a great 25 years. I’ve seen many changes and growth within our company and have many friends at NSE. Many have left, retired, and moved on. We really are like family.” says Kristy. “If it wasn’t for our 401k and ESOP and my husband – I would not be able to retire early and live my lake life.”
Over the last 22 years Kristy has shown us what it means to be a leader through her hard work and dedication to develop a greater business for not only our customers but our employees.
