The employee-owners of NewStream Enterprises, LLC (NSE), a subsidiary of SRC Holdings Corp. (SRC), celebrated a $30 million increase in the SRC Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) value with an ESOP certificate and sweet treats celebration at its Springfield, Missouri location today.
NSE, a 100% employee-owned company, believes in sharing the wealth with those who create it. Through its open-book management philosophy and Great Game of Business principles, its employee-owners understand how they have a stake in the outcome and impact the bottom line to increase their stock growth, which boasted a 25% increase from 2017 to 2018.
The ESOP has approximately 1,300 participants across all SRC companies and joint ventures and has been greatly successful throughout NSE and SRC’s history. It has paid out over $100 million to date and was recently listed by the National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO) as one of the top 100 largest majority employee-owned companies.
