Our Culture
The SRC approach to running a company was developed to help close one of the biggest gaps in business—the gap between managers and employees. We call our open-book approach The Great Game of Business. What lies at the heart of The Game is a very simple proposition: The best, most efficient, most profitable way to operate a business is to give everybody in the company a voice in saying how the company is run and a stake in the financial outcome, good or bad. We embrace Transparency as we share information, either positive or negative with our employees at all levels. In some ways, we see “business” as incidental to what we do. Our real business is education. We teach people about business and give employees the knowledge and tools to help them understand:

SRC Employee Assistance Fund
At NSE, a subsidiary of SRC Holdings Corp., our associates have the opportunity to help each other in times of crisis by participating in the SRC Employee Emergency Assistance Fund. This program allows associates to not only give to the fund, but also to apply for assistance during natural disasters, emergency family travel, medical hardship, and personal emergencies.

NewStream Enterprises prides itself on developing talent from the bottom up, and we always strive to hire from within. In fact, many of the leaders of the company started on the shop floor. Through succession planning, individuals are identified as having potential to fill key business leadership roles in the future and are given additional training, mentorship, experience, and other developmental tools to ready them for future positions.
Business Literacy and Ownership
At NewStream Enterprises, employee-owners are trained to treat business as a game. Business has all the elements of a game: rules, a scorecard, and a reward for winning. This includes education on how to read and interpret the company’s Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and Balance Sheet. More importantly, the employee-owners are taught how they can impact these financials to create wealth for the company, and in turn, themselves.

Through this program, full-time employees may be given the opportunity to acquire the skills and knowledge important to their career without being required to incur the financial burden of going to school.
Internship Programs

NewStream Enterprises utilizes internship programs to provide students with hands-on, career-specific experience. At the end of the programs, students may be offered full-time positions at NewStream Enterprises or another subsidiary of SRC Holdings.
